No.
You only see one piece.
God sees the whole puzzle.
We see:
Pain
Problems
Waiting
Disappointment
God sees:
Purpose
Growth
Future
Victory
JOSEPH EXAMPLE
Joseph was:
Betrayed
Sold as a slave
Put in prison
Did God fail Joseph?
NO.
God was working the whole time.
Years later Joseph became a ruler.
God’s plan was perfect.
BIG IDEA
Just because you do not understand God’s plan does not mean God made a mistake.
POINT 3
GOD IS A GOD OF TRUTH
VISUAL QUESTION
Who has ever been lied to?
Almost everyone.
People lie.
People break promises.
People say one thing and do another.
But God is different.
God cannot lie.
What God says is true.
Every time.
GOD’S PROMISES
When God says:
“I will never leave you.”
He means it.
When God says:
“I will forgive.”
He means it.
When God says:
“Judgment is coming.”
He means it.
BIG IDEA
God always keeps His Word.

Never.
Not one time.
BIG IDEA
When we do not understand God,we must remember:
God is still good.
POINT 5
GOD IS JUST AND RIGHT
God is fair.
God is righteous.
God always does what is right.
Sometimes we say:
“God, why?”
“God, I don’t understand.”
“God, this is not fair.”

God knows what we do not know.
God understands what we do not understand.

Because gravity never changes.
God’s faithfulness is like that.
Reliable.
Constant.
Always the same.
Every day.
GOSPEL CONNECTION
The greatest proof that God is faithful is Jesus Christ.
